Strictly's Graziano Di Prima screams as he gets highest score yet with Kym Marsh

Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano Di Prima was left screaming on the show on Saturday, as he and Kym Marsh secured their highest score of the series so far.

The Coronation Street actress and her professional dance partner performed an Argentine Tango to John Powell's Assassin's Tango for this week.

Their performance was a huge hit with the judges, who all heaped praise on the duo and their moves.

As the performance came to an end, Kym and Graziano looked emotional yet thrilled as they learned they'd finally impressed judge Craig Revel Horwood, as well as the others on the panel.

But it was when they got their scores that the pair really celebrated, with pro dancer Graziano screaming loudly and jumping around.

As Craig offered a 9, joined by Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas, Kym was heard cheering loudly while her dance partner did the same.

Anton Du Beke then said: "It's a great night," before marking them 10 points - their first 10 of the whole series.

With this, Graziano looked completely shocked and let out a huge scream as he jumped around the studio with his hands on his face.

Kym launched her arms in the air and shouted: "Yes!" as she celebrated the scores, with her co-stars cheering her on in the background.

Graziano then screamed: "Come on, come on," before grabbing Kym and spinning her around in the air.

The emotions then hit as Kym said: "I'm gonna cry, I'm gonna cry," as her dance partner once again covered his mouth in shock and closed his eyes.

It follows reports this week that Kym broke down in tears ahead of a recent live performance.

Kym was also reported to have suffered a panic attack during rehearsals for a dance a few weeks ago, with it said she had to be consoled by cast and crew.

Kym and her pro partner Graziano were practising their quickstep to Sweet's Ballroom Blitz, which closed Strictly's BBC themed episode two weeks ago.

The Sun reports that during rehearsal, Kym struggled to continue dancing as producers attempted to lessen her anxiety.

An onlooker said: “She was very upset she just couldn’t stop crying and hyperventilating.

“In the end there was no choice but to stop rehearsals.”

Sources added there was concern Kym would not be able to go on, but she went on to dance in the live show that evening.

A friend told The Sun: “Kym doesn’t mind admitting she suffers from anxiety and panic attacks.

“That sort of thing can catch her out.”

Strictly Come Dancing airs its results show on Sunday at 7:15pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
