But the speed with which the team came in India, the same speed it went out. Played the last match for India 13 years ago. We are talking about Saurabh Tiwary. There was a time when this wicket-keeper batsman from Jharkhand was compared to Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Saurabh also plays in the same way as Dhoni. But, only after playing 3 matches, he/she was dropped from Team India in such a way that 13 years passed in waiting for his/her return and he/she was 33 years old. Saurabh Tiwari started playing cricket at the age of 11. Before making his/her first-class debut for Jharkhand in 2006-07, he/she played for Jharkhand’s under-14 team. he/she was part of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2008 under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Two years later, 18 sixes in IPL for Mumbai Indians (most for any team) and 3 centuries for Jharkhand in Ranji Trophy, earned him/her a ticket to Team India in 2010.
Didn’t get chance in Indian team after 3 matches
Saurabh Tiwary was selected in the Indian team for the Asia Cup in June 2010. However, he/she had to wait till October for his/her ODI debut. Saurabh made his/her debut in October 2010 in the home series against Australia. After this, in December 2010, he/she was selected in the team for the home series against New Zealand. Played 2 more matches. But, after this, he/she got out of Team India in such a way that he/she could not come back again. However, he/she continued to play domestic cricket and IPL. But, in the presence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, this middle order batsman could not return to the Indian team.

Saurabh Tiwary was playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL since 2017. But, after being released from the team in 2022, no one bought him/her in the auction and he/she will not be a part of the IPL this year as well. Recently, this wicket-keeper batsman from Jharkhand had come into controversy when during the match one of the fan’s words was such that he/she ran to beat him/her with the bat.
Saurabh was the top scorer of Jharkhand in this season of Ranji Trophy. he/she scored 653 runs in 7 matches at an average of 59.36. In this season, 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries came out of his/her bat.
